Mango Ginger Lassi Recipe: A great way to cool down

This recipe is especially great for Pitta dosha but is good for anyone as a refreshing, healthy drink or snack.

You will need:

  • One ripe mango
  • 1 cup of plain greek yogurt (Fage 0% is my favorite)
  • 1 cup of water
  • Handful of ice cubes
  • 1 tsp. ginger (freshly grated) or ground
  • ground cardamom

In a blender, combine all ingredients and give it a whirl.  Makes 2 servings at approximately 115 calories each.  You can also add a natural sweetener such as agave nectar for more sweetness or a banana works well too.  Enjoy and stay cool.
